During the retreat, the opponents themselves destroyed the multiple launch rocket system, the Pivden operational command noted.
On Zmeiny Island in the Black Sea, as a result of rocket and artillery strikes inflicted by the Ukrainian military on the forces of the Russian invaders, a field ammunition depot, a Tor anti-aircraft missile system, a trailer with a diesel generator and one small boat were destroyed.
Opponents at retreat from Serpent Island blew up a multiple launch rocket system and a transport-charging vehicle to the Tor air defense system, shared in the operational command “Pivden” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“… Completing the emergency evacuation of personnel from Zmeiny Island, the Rashisti destroyed military equipment, documentation and property. Probably, mining of the area, the pier and surrounding waters near the island was carried out …”, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shared.

Recall that on June 30, the Pivden OK reported that at night the defenders of Ukraine struck at Snake Island, after which the enemies probably left it. Later it became known that near the Snake Island Ukrainian soldiers shot down a Russian helicopter Ka-52 “Alligator”.
