Mohamed Faraj Amer, president of Smouha Club, said that there are two reasons behind the failure to complete the contract with the Arab international striker during the current winter transfer period, adding that this does not mean closing the door completely on the deal.
Amer wrote through his official account on the social networking site “Facebook”: “The deal of Smouha and the Arab international striker has stalled until now due to Smouha’s refusal of the player’s condition not to make a medical examination and cancel the requirement to participate in the contract.”
He added, “This does not mean closing the door at all, and we are seeking to complete the resounding deal on our terms and with full financing of the deal outside the club’s budget, which cannot be financed, even partially, of such deals.”
He concluded: “The player was and still is a primary goal for the top clubs before the start of the past and present seasons.”
It is worth noting that Amer announced several weeks ago that Smouha was close to hiring an Arab international striker, whose height is 192 cm, and that he is mainly participating with his country without revealing his name.
