Smouha reveals the truth about the return of Fattouh and the Al-Ahly duo

Farag Amer, president of Smouha, confirmed that he will not request a contract with Ahmed Fattouh, the full-back of Zamalek, and Salah Mohsen and Khaled Abdel Fattah, the Al-Ahly duo.

The trio previously played for Smouha, and although Amer praised them, he will not sign any of them for various reasons.

Amer said, in statements to the MBC Misr channel, early this morning, Friday, “Fatouh is a “delicious young man” and an excellent player. He gave a distinguished experience with Smouha and was wonderful in his behavior and morals with us, and no problem occurred with him throughout his time with us. “.

He added, “But it is impossible for me to make an offer to include him because of his high salary. We cannot pay this amount at the present time, and why should I enter into a major conflict with Zamalek and Al-Ahly?”

He continued, “Khaled Abdel Fattah and Salah Mohsen will not return to Smouha. They are great players, but Ahmed Sami (the team’s coach) did not request a contract with any of them.”

Fattouh played for Smouha on loan from Zamalek during the period from January 2019 until October 2020.

Zamalek offered Fattouh for sale next January for disciplinary reasons, knowing that his contract with the White Castle expires at the end of the current season.

While Salah Mohsen wore the Alexandria team’s shirt on loan from Al-Ahly from January to October 2020.

As for Abdel Fattah, he is a junior from Smouha, and he played for the first team from September 2019 until he moved to Al-Ahly last January on loan, before the loan turned into a final sale.

He explained, “Hamdy Alaa is a committed player and a great addition to Smouha. It is possible that we may request his inclusion from Zamalek permanently, but the White Club has the right to bring him back at the end of the season after the end of the loan, and there is no clause that allows it to bring the player back in January.”

The president of Smouha revealed, “I requested to include two players born in 2005 from Al-Ahly, but the club refused because it intends to promote them to the first team.”
