Warehouse
According to Dagbladet’s information, it concerns a warehouse in Enebakkveien, where there have been several fires recently.
Oslo police ask neighbors to keep windows and doors closed. According to residents, the message is conveyed loudly using megaphones.
They currently do not know the cause of the smoke development. The scope is also unclear.
The direction of the wind poses a problem, as the smoke is blown straight into the nearby apartment complexes.
Older building
Duty commander Eirik Fredriksen in OBRE informs Dagbladet that the fire service has arrived at an older industrial building.
– The fire service has moved out with ten fire engines, he says.
However, Fredriksen states that the fire service has not yet detected a fire in the building.
– We are now entering the building with smoke divers. We have not received information about the evacuation of residents in the area, he says.
The duty commander states that OBRE has no idea how the fire started. However, he notes that there is “some fire” in the area.
