Johannesburg: Video of South African Cricket Board director and former captain Graeme Smith tying his son’s shoe laces while speaking at an online news conference has gone viral. Graeme Smith, director of Cricket South Africa, held an online news conference in the wake of the recent tours of the South African men’s and women’s teams.
Meanwhile, the son enters the scene with a small bat in his hand. This video has gone viral.
The son, who sought his father’s help to put on his shoes as usual, did not care if he held a news conference online. The laces of the shoe needed to be tied. At first he tried to avoid it, but when his son insisted again, Smith apologized to the audience and helped his son put on his shoes. “It’s always been my father’s job,” Smith said.
