“Even though the online market is resonant and continues to grow, the number of sales in Indonesia is not as much as the offline market. So brands must ensure that their units can be purchased easily by the public, both online and offline, because when it is not available in many places, buyers will easily switch to other brands,” he said.

Then it becomes very important to attach a low-end smartphone with lots of new technology in a higher version, or flagship to boost product quality.

However, flagships are still very important as a driver of brand prestige, although not in the largest number of sales,” he concluded.
