The city of Poitiers is replacing the traditional lighting of its streetlights with “intelligent” LEDs.
“Smart” LEDs. Concretely, what is it? According to our colleagues from France Bleu, these are led systems which consume two to three times less energy, which offer a whiter light, and whose intensity can be adjusted remotely by the technical services. At the end of 2025, all these light points will be replaced in France.
In Poitiers, in the department of Vienne, 38,000 light points will benefit from this new technology.
