Small Newspaper – Antenna Styria

This year, the Kleine Zeitung is celebrating its 120th anniversary – at the Open House Day on September 21st from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Styria Media Center in Graz. Come along and experience the Kleine Zeitung up close!

Look forward to exclusive insights into the editorial office, an interactive exhibition, guided tours and a great children’s program. And the best part: Kleine Zeitung Club members can enjoy a free meal and drink by showing their club customer number!

The highlight of the Open House Day is guided tours of the newsroom. This gives you fascinating insights into the history and allows you to experience 120 years of Kleine Zeitung live on site – and the crowning glory is a visit to Antenne Steiermark during the tours. The Open House Day in Graz also includes an exclusive stage program: guests can look forward to live podcast recordings, book presentations and discussions with Kleine Zeitung editor-in-chief Hubert Patterer. Among other things, there will be the unique opportunity to attend an editorial conference live.

That’s not all: Guests such as Manuel Rubey, actress Pia Hierzegger, actor Michael Ostrowski and successful entrepreneurs Josef Zotter will be part of the program above the roofs of Graz – in the Skyroom of the Styria Media Center. Registration for the program and the tours will be possible on site using photo ID (limited places!).

You can have a souvenir drawn by a live sketch artist or immerse yourself in the world of the Kleine Zeitung in the mini cinema. With a bit of luck, you can also win one of 120 instant prizes on the wheel of fortune. No one will go home empty-handed anyway, because all guests will receive a free Kleine Zeitung goodie bag, coffee from Rolling Barista and ice cream from Charly Temmel (while stocks last). And there is also a wide range of other culinary offerings to enjoy – from sweet to savoury.

There will be a lot to discover not only for adults, but also for children: In the Little Children’s Newspaper area, a bouncy castle, tricky puzzles, a painting corner, a photo booth, face painting and much more await the little guests.
