Work is annoying, Corona is annoying and there is simply not enough money in the back and front for a genuine Hypercar. Head up, it’s almost the same for us all. What could help in the short term: A small mental cinema ride on the Hyperbike Pagani Amaru.

Kink in optics? The Hyperbike Pagani Amaru really looks so lively. At least that is what the Indian designer imagines them to be.

Huayra or Imola – sports car fans already have goose bumps when reading these names. Understandable, since it is mostly unreachable dream cars beyond the 800 PS, beyond the million mark. Take the 2020 version of the Pagani Imola, for example: it costs a whopping five million euros and makes 840 hp.

At best, the Pagani Amaru by designer Vishruth Kumar is even more exclusive. This two-wheeler is not for sale at all, it is a design. But for most of us, the following applies: The small-scale hypercar is just as inaccessible as the fictional hyperbike. So what’s up?

When looking at the curved shapes of this unusual motorcycle it becomes clear why the Indian designer chose the name “Amaru”. In the mythology of some Andean peoples, the name stands for a water punch or a water dragon, whose elongated neck can also be found in the concept bike. Similarly, the “sparkling” eyes would be the headlights of the bike.

The side view reminds us a little of the designer Luigi Colani who died this year. Sitting position and tank virtually push the pilot into a crouching position, which benefits aerodynamics. The steering also turns out particularly well. It is a steering knuckle steering, as we saw last with the Bimota Tesi.

Although it is “only” a concept, technical details have also been considered. The Hyperbike is to be driven by a liquid-cooled AMG engine (?) With four cylinders, and the frame is to be made from a carbon-titanium alloy. Would you like to take a few virtual rounds in a “real” Pagani? You can find it in Gran Turismo Sport. Or you look directly at the next dreamy concept: the Mercedes Redsun Concept, for example, met with a great response from you.
