Tuesday morning, a small dog lost its life after being attacked by a larger dog.
Just before 07.00, the police in Trøndelag were notified of a riot outside an address on Tiller.
– It turned out that a larger dog has attacked a smaller dog. The little dog died on the spot. Both dogs must have been loose, says operations manager Ellen Maria Brende to TV 2.
The police state that they have been at the scene, and that a case has been opened.
– We have questioned both owners, in addition to one witness, she says.
At the moment, they are working to clarify more about the circumstances surrounding the incident itself, before the police lawyer will make a decision on whether the large dog should be taken into custody.
