The rebound in 2021?
The activity of French very small businesses in commerce, crafts and services fell by 9.00% in 2020. This is the main lesson of the large annual study “The tops and flops of very small businesses” that has just made public the FCGA. An unprecedented decline that occurs in a context of massive recession in the French economy: -8.3%. Unheard of since World War II!
Hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic, the local economy collapsed last year. Out of the 12 sectors of activity analyzed, only 2 of them (including the food retail trade with + 3.4%) recorded a net increase in turnover, while the 10 others showed an activity rate in recoil. […]
