Slovenia puts a cap on the price of gasoline. In Vencò an hour’s queue

The situation of petrol stations in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

While Italy is discussing the possibility of cutting excise duties on fuel, Slovenia is working on a measure that sets a ceiling on petroleum products, including the price of gasoline. By ensuring that there are sufficient stocks in the country, the Slovenian government announced its intention to set excise duties at the lowest level and to initiate the regulation of the retail price of petroleum products. A decision that should stop the increase in the price of fuel, which has also been registered across the border.

Here in Italy too, the government led by Mario Draghi should approve a decree to curb the rise in petrol and diesel pricesas well as the cut in excise duties for a saving of 10%. The prices of gasoline and diesel they are, in fact, continuing to rise unchecked since the beginning of the year. The latest findings show that the national average of diesel fuel has gone beyond petrol: 2.3 euros per liter in served mode and over 2.2 euros in self-service mode.

So also today in Friuli Venezia Giulia there was a rush for distributors across the border, with that of Vencò which is confirmed as the favorite by motorists, where they queue up to an hour to be able to refuel at the pump.
