Ukraine and Slovenia have common values of freedom and democracy, Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.
Slovenia joined the G7 declaration on supporting security guarantees for Ukraine. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky on Twitter on Friday, August 25.
“I am grateful to the Government of Slovenia and personally to Prime Minister Robert Golob for joining the G7 declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine,” he wrote.
Zelensky noted that Ukraine and Slovenia have common values of freedom and democracy, as well as the desire for peace and justice for the entire Euro-Atlantic community.
As you know, at the July NATO summit in Vilnius, the G7 countries adopted a declaration that provides for long-term support for Ukraine in the field of security and economy.
Last week, the Office of the President announced that 25 countries supported the G7 declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine. And this week, Luxembourg joined the guarantors of Ukraine.
