Slovak Youth Representative Adam Griger Joins Granada in Spain on Loan

Slovak youth representative Adam Griger is moving to Spain.

The 19-year-old striker is leaving the Austrian LASK Linz for Granada on a one-year loan with the option to transfer and extend the cooperation for another three seasons, the player’s agent Jozef Petrik informed on the player’s social network. The official website of the club states that the activity in Spain will begin in the third division reserve. The A-team of Granada is a newcomer to the highest competition – La Liga.

Almost two meters tall Griger was born and raised in Prešov. He made his senior debut in Michalovci when he was only 16 years old! In the fall of 2020, he managed 5 matches in the then Fortuna League, at the turn of the year he left for LASK.

Here he played only 5 matches for the A-team, most of his time was spent on loan in the Austrian second division Juniors OÖ. Last season he was a guest in the Italian second division Cagliari. He played only 10 minutes in Serie B, playing for the junior team in Primavera.
