Slovak Striker Servác Petrovský Dominates Junior WC in Gothenburg: Full Stats and Rankings

GÖTEBORG – Slovak ice hockey player Servác Petrovský is at the head of productivity after the matches in the basic groups at the Junior WC in Gothenburg.

In four duels, he collected nine points for five goals and four assists, and leads the table ahead of a quartet of eight-point players. In the top ten are also his teammates Filip Mešár (1+6) in seventh place and Peter Repčík (3+3) in tenth place.

Petrovský is second in the number of goals by one hit behind the American Gavin Brindley, Mešár is fourth among record scorers. Maxim Štrbák, together with Theo Lindstein from Sweden, is at the head of the defenders’ scoring. Both scored six points for one goal and five assists in the group.

Slovakian goalkeeper Adam Gajan ranks third in the success rate of hits, in three appearances he achieved 93.41 percent of this indicator. At the head is the Swedish goalkeeper Hugo Havelid, who has not conceded a single goal in two meetings. Dalibor Dvorský is the fourth most successful in throw-ins (63.49 perc.).

Before the quarter-finals, the Slovaks are in first place in the team statistics of power-ups, they used seven out of 16 opportunities and thus have a 43.75 percent success rate. In weakening (88.24 percent success), they are third behind the USA and Sweden. Coach Ivan Feneš’s team is also third in shooting efficiency in the ratio of goals and shots on goal.
