Vladimír Čížek, the singer and drummer of the Slovak band Echo-band, passed away at the age of 49. The tragic news hit family and friends just before Christmas. He was supposed to have lost his life on December 21 in a car accident.
He announced the sad news according to Trnava daily his bandmate Juraj Polák. “We are very sorry, because we not only lived a piece of musician’s life together, but we were also inseparable friends,” he said.
“Lord, we will never forget you and there will not be a single day when we don’t remember everything we did together. Rest in peace, we will miss you,” he said to the sky.
Fans also remember the excellent musician. “He was a guy who knew what music was and who enjoyed music and it was his life. I’m sorry he ended up like this, he will be greatly missed,” one of them recalled.
According to friends, Vladimír Čížek was always smiling, cheerful and full of life. His latest testifies to that contribution on a social network. In it, he showed how he changed between 2019 and 2023. “Feeling amazing,” he wrote. “I’m living my amazing life. If I can do it, so can you,” he stated.
