One of the committees of the Slovak parliament approved a resolution calling on the government to continue military assistance to Ukraine. Local media reported this today, November 14.
It is noted that the parliamentary opposition, represented by the Progressive Slovakia party, managed to use the current majority in the parliamentary committee on foreign affairs and pass a resolution in which the committee calls on the government Robert Fico condemn Russia’s actions in Ukraine. In addition, the committee requests continued provision of comprehensive assistance to Ukraine, including military assistance.
Let us remember that Slovakia previously provided various assistance to Kyiv, including military assistance. However, the new government led by Robert Fico officially refused military supplies to the Kyiv regime. In addition, the current prime minister of the republic advocates restoring relations with Russia and considers it necessary to stop hostilities in Ukraine.
