The Slovak national hockey team will play eight games as part of the final preparations for the 2024 World Hockey Championship in the Czech Republic (May 10-26, 2024), six of which will be played at home rinks. The spectacular culmination of the preparations will be the warm-up for the World Cup, which coach Craig Ramsay’s men will play on May 7 against a loaded USA line-up.
Slovak hockey players will start their preparation with a challenging double match Kaufland Challenge against Switzerland (April 11 and 12). They will then travel to Germanywhere in Kaufbeuren (April 18) and Augsburg (April 20) they will compete against the reigning silver medalists from the World Championships.
The remaining four matches will be played only at home rinks, against of the Czech Republic (April 26 in Trenčín and April 27 in Bratislava), against a rookie in the elite category of the World Cup Poland (May 3 in Žilina) and against the aforementioned United States of America (May 7 in Bratislava).
