The case of Slovak influencer Ráchel Karnižová ends up in court. The young woman was allegedly physically abused by her boyfriend and singer Tomáš Drahoš, better known under the stage name Tomy Kotty. The last time he attacked her was on the weekend, causing nasty injuries to her face.
The appalling case took place in Slovakia. The young influencer Ráchel Karnižová, who shone in the Miss Universe competition a year ago, was experiencing hell at home. Her boyfriend, singer and presenter Tomy Kotty, was supposed to do this to her.
The couple started dating a few months ago and on the surface it seemed like everything was sunny. However, the reality was different. On Tuesday, Ráchel showed the true form of their joint relationship on her Instagram. And the details are chilling.
Ráchel herself admitted that in the beginning people from the singer’s surroundings tried to warn her about him, but she did not give them weight. “After a while, I started to notice things, like if I disagreed with one of his opinions or had a different one, it was bad,” the influencer wrote on her instagram.
According to her, her partner had the biggest problems with anger management when he drank. That was when the beating was supposed to be the worst. Ráchel also published photos in which she is badly beaten. In addition to the bruises, she also had bloody injuries on her face and monocles. She also showed conversations in which Tomy cursed her harshly.
He allegedly beat the former Miss Universe contestant twice. For the first time, she did not want to file a criminal complaint and wanted to help her partner get out of alcohol and anger problems. However, she did not want to tolerate domestic violence the second time.
The singer did not hide the threatening domestic conditions in any way. “Yes, it’s true and you don’t even know how sorry I am as a man and as a person. What I did should not happen under any circumstances,” Tomy Kotty confessed to television Awning. He added that he is starting anti-alcohol treatment.
Despite Tomy’s apologies, the relationship is definitely over. “I don’t want to ruin his life or take revenge. I just want to make sure this never happens to another woman. I never thought something like this could happen to me, but realistically it could happen to anyone. I’m just mad at myself for I didn’t leave the first time it happened. If something like this happens to you, whether you’re a man or a woman, leave now,” the influencer wrote on Instagram.
However, it does not end with the breakup and treatment for her ex-partner. He will have to explain his behavior even before the court. According to Prosecutor General Maroš Žilinka, the law enforcement authorities will deal with the case. “The fight against domestic violence has long been a priority of the prosecutor’s office,” he said, according to the portal tvnoviny.sk Žilinka.
