NITRA – Slovak hockey player Sebastián Čederle has extended his contract with HK Nitra for another two years. On Friday, the 23-year-old striker wowed the spectators under Zobor, when he started Nitra’s cannonade against Slovan Bratislava (7:1) with a great “lacrosse” goal.
“I am very happy that I signed a new contract. I had other offers from Slovakia, but I chose Nitra. There are really great fans here, I know it here and I have nothing to complain about.” stated Čederle for the official club website hockeynitra.com. The hot candidate for the author of the most beautiful goal of the ongoing Tipos extraliga season would like to fulfill his personal goal during his engagement in Nitra.
“I would like to get into the national team and play some matches in the most valuable jersey. That is my minor goal,” said the center of the third attack of the “corgons”, who has been wearing the Nitra jersey since November 2022. In this year, he played 35 matches in which he collected 14 points (7+7).
