Not only a fine from the police, but also a punishment from the club. The Slovak hockey representative Boris Žabka (19) received it, who last weekend brutally attacked his peer in a disco club in Banská Bystrica and caused him serious injuries, from which he will be treated for four to six weeks after the operation.
He received the first punishment on the spot from the police – he paid 30 euros, the second was imposed on him by his employer, the extra-league team Banská Bystrica.

Nový Čas contacted the mother of the 19-year-old victim to find out what condition he is currently in after the surgery he did not avoid after the fight. “The eye still doesn’t open. On Thursday, we had a neurological examination, where the doctor increased the dose of the medication he currently has to take,” she told us at the beginning, but in one breath she quickly added a subtle positive.
“As far as possible, the son is doing well, even if the headaches do not subside. On Friday, more complex examinations await us at the hospital in Banská Bystrica, so we will be wiser after them. The healing time should probably stretch to four to six weeks.” added the concerned parent, who is angry that the CCTV footage from the club they requested has still not reached them.
