Slovak hockey player Tomáš Tatar has a new club in the NHL. He became part of the trade, in which the Colorado Avalanche received a pick for him in the 5th round of the 2024 draft. Tomáš Tatar was sent to the Seattle Kraken.
Tomáš Tatar has struggled since the start of the season in Colorado, scoring only one goal in 28 games to which he added eight assists. He joined the team before the start of the season, signing a contract for 1.5 million dollars.
Seattle will be his sixth club in the NHL. He played six seasons for the Detroit Red Wings, who drafted him in the 2nd round in 2009. In 2017/18, he played 28 games for the Vegas Golden Knights, then three seasons for the Montreal Canadiens, from where he went to the New Jersey Devils for two years and before the current year to Colorado.
He played a total of 862 duels in the NHL, in which he scored 477 points (219+258). In the new club, he could also meet his compatriot Marián Studenič, who plays on the farm, but has already played 2 matches in the first team.
