WASHINGTON – Slovak hockey player Martin Fehérváry signed a new three-year contract with the Washington Capitals worth 2.675 million US dollars per season. The official website of the NHL informed about it.
The 23-year-old defender has completed his last year in the overseas professional league as part of his rookie contract. In 67 games, he scored six goals and added ten points for assists.
Fehérváry played a total of 152 games in the NHL, scoring 34 points (14 goals and 20 assists). He did not score in eight playoff games.
