NEW YORK. Slovak hockey forward Tomáš Tatar scored his seventh goal of the current year in the NHL night game. He thus rounded the season’s point balance to number 20.
Defender Vince Dunn found him between the circles and Tatar beat the opponent’s goalkeeper with a quick shot.
It was his only shot in the game, he also had one hit and spent 12 minutes and 41 seconds on the ice. But his goal did not prevent Seattle from losing 2:3 on the ice of Philadelphia.

Šimon Nemec scored three shots and a hit in New Jersey. In a match poor in goals, his club fell to Caroline 0:1 after extra time. The Slovak defender played 22 minutes and 27 seconds.
His compatriot Erik Černák spent exactly the same amount of time on the ice. He had three shots on goal, one hit, two plus points and two penalty minutes in Tampa Bay’s 4-2 win in Columbus.
Martin Fehérváry was on the ice of Boston’s Eastern Conference leader 3-0 during Washington’s win. He did not score, scored four hits and played 20:10 minutes.
Ovechkin beat Gretzky
Alexander Ovechkin is in good shape. In Washington’s match against Boston, he closed the scoring with a goal and made his mark in the fourth meeting in a row.
His strike in the final minute of the game came into an empty net and was the 57th such goal of his career, passing Wayne Gretzky and setting a new NHL record.
For the overall record in the number of goals scored, the Russian still loses 60 accurate hits to the Canadian. He currently has 834 on his account. In the ongoing season, he scored twelve times.

Reinhart is the club record holder
Florida forward Sam Reinhart helped his club win 4-0 over Colorado with another goal. It was already his 39th accurate hit of the season and 22nd on the power play, which holds the club record.
Only four active players in the NHL have played seasons in which they scored more often in the numerical advantage – Leon Draisaitl, Alexander Ovechkin, Steven Stamkos and Chris Kreider.
Reinhart is second in the scoring table this year. The first is Auston Matthews, who with a goal against Ottawa improved his record to 42 accurate hits, for which he needed only 49 meetings.
