The former drummer of SLIPKNOT, Joey Jordison, died at the age of 46.
The news was spread by the family who did not provide information on the causes of death:
“We are saddened to share the news that Joey Jordison, a prolific drummer, musician and artist, died peacefully in his sleep on July 26, 2021. He was 46 years old. The death of Joey it left us with an empty heart and feelings of indescribable pain. For those who knew Joey, they understood his wit, his kind personality, giant heart and his love for everything related to family and music. The family of Joey asked that friends, fans and the media understandably respect our need for privacy and peace in this incredibly difficult time. The family will hold a private funeral service and ask the media and the public to respect their wishes ”.
Jordison was one of the founders of the SLIPKNOT and played in the band from 1995 to 2013.
He also played in MURDERDOLLS from 2002 to 2004 and from 2010 to 2011, in SCAR THE MARTYR from 2013 to 2015 and in VIMIC from 2015 to today.
