The average number of hospital admissions is just over 10 a day, compared to almost 14 a day a week earlier. The number of deaths also continues to drop to an average of 3.4 per day compared to 5.4 per day a week earlier.
165 hospital beds have been taken, 38 fewer than last week. There are still 32 patients on intensive care, four less than a week ago.
602 new cases were reported between June 29 and July 5. Of these, 365 or 61 percent were in Flanders, 116 (19%) in Wallonia and 120 (20%) in Brussels. Residence data was not available for 1 case.
