The business climate index rose to 91.8 from 90.8 the previous month as economists and analysts polled by Reuters forecast a drop to 89.1.
The component of the judgment of business leaders on their current business conditions rose slightly to 97.2 after 97.1 (revised) in March and that measuring the change in their expectations rose to 86.7 against 84 .9 (revised).
