REPUBLIKA.CO.ID,SLEMAN – Deputy Regent of Sleman, Danang Maharsa, officially closed Lebaran Market 2021. This activity, which was initiated by the Sleman Regency Cooperatives and UKM Office, was successfully held for four days starting April 29, 2021 at Sleman City Hall.
In his remarks, Danang said, the implementation of the 2021 Lebaran Market was indeed presented to maintain the sustainability of MSMEs due to a prolonged pandemic. As well, increasing product sales and fostering MSMEs in Sleman.
“This activity is hoped to be able to help MSMEs in marketing their products, considering that during the Covid-19 pandemic, the majority of which experienced a decline, as well as providing the needs of the people at affordable prices,” said Danang, Sunday (2/5).
Currently, he explained, there are more than 68,000 MSME actors in Sleman Regency who have registered at the Cooperatives and SME Service. Of these, many MSMEs are highly dependent on the level of tourist and student visits.
“With the pandemic currently occurring in Indonesia starting in early 2020, of course it is very hitting business conditions. This is one of our efforts to promote Sleman SME products in the midst of this pandemic,” said Danang.
The Head of the Sleman Cooperatives and SME Service, Pustopo, said that the 2021 Lebaran Market had the theme Borong Together MSME Products in Sleman Regency. Apart from being held offline, this activity can be followed online through 360 virtual exhibitions.
“The 360 Virtual Lebaran Market will be held from 1-21 May 2021 via bit.ly/pasarlebaranvirtual2021,” said Pustopo.
Until the closing, the 2021 Lebaran Market had resulted in transactions of more than Rp. 100 million. In addition, cheap groceries are sold, such as sugar, approximately three quintals of sugar, one quintal of rice, 226 liters of cooking oil, and 64 kilograms of chicken eggs.
