Gastroentology Specialist, Prof. Dr. dr. Ari Fahrial Syam, SpPD-KGEH, MMB, FINASIM also gave their comments regarding this matter.
“First Gerd is not comorbid. That patients with Gerd are not at risk when exposed Omicron. Obviously there are obesity, hypertension, diabetes, or people with autoimmune treatment, but if people GERD not be at risk of exposure Omicron,” said Dr. Ari at a virtual event, Friday (11/2/2022).
It’s just, Gerd appears when the patient Covid-19 taking various drugs.
