Fortunately, they get along well: Leander, Remon and Wim have been sentenced to each other day and night this week. “A colleague from Monday received a phone call that he had been in contact with someone who had tested positive”, Remon told EditieNL. “He then did a quick test and turned out to be positive himself. We had been in contact with him, so we had to be quarantined as well.”

Remon did not want to be quarantined at home because his girlfriend owns a barbershop. “If I later turn out to have corona, it will have a lot of consequences for her.” So the office was turned into a home.

The company that makes art and decoration – you may know them by the big André Hazes Lego statue on the Dam in Amsterdam – has two offices and a canteen. These spaces were arranged as bedrooms. “Everyone has their own room. We have our dinner delivered and after work we have a nice beer together.”

The workshop has a shower, so that is no problem either. “It is going very well. We get along so it is not a punishment for anyone.”
Rapid test
After the incubation period, the gentlemen can do a rapid test on Friday. “Hopefully it will be negative, but if it is positive we will stay in quarantine for another five days.”
