The data from the representative survey of Trend agency show that it will be very difficult for both large coalitions GERB-SDS and PP-DB to form a government.
The big question is not who will be first, but who will be able to form a ruling majority, said the sociologist from “Trend” Evelina Slavkova in the BNT studio.
“One hypothesis is for a coalition – GERB, PP, DB. It’s a complex coalition. The other hypothesis is a coalition – GERB, DPS, BSP and possibly some small political formation – this would also be difficult, at least because it is socially unpopular. The third hypothesis, which is becoming more and more likely, is to have elections in the fall,” Evelina believes.
Slavkova pointed out that everyone is focused on local elections – both PP and DB, as well as GERB, which want to continue to hold local power by having mayors in places. This race will prevail in the attempts of the political formations to have a conversation, she added.
