Slavista Madsen about life in the Czech Republic: Someone is having beer for breakfast, I have not seen that in Denmark

Mads Emil Madsen moved to Slavia in the summer and over time fought his way into a group of stitchers. Now he belongs to the match rotation and in the cup against Zlín he even managed to score the first goal. What does he say about life in the Czech Republic?

Twenty-three-year-old Danish Mads Emil Madsen came to Slavia this summer, but it took him quite a long time to get into a wrestling rotation.

He premiered in the league in Mladá Boleslav in August, when he jumped to the 14th minute. Subsequently, he started quite sporadically and by the beginning of November played in 72 matches in three matches.

It was in November, however, that his workload changed and Madsen began to board, albeit only from the bench. In mid-December, he scored his first goal for Slavia, scoring in the MOL Cup.

I think that was probably the happiest moment I was in Slavia. Although maybe the assistance I had a few games before was even better. I almost prefer to record on goals than I give them myself. When I look back at matches, I don’t deal with goals or assists. Most important is my overall performance,He said in an interview with the club’s website.

He also described his life in the Czech Republic. “I am happy. It’s great to live in a big city, I lived in a very small town in Denmark. It’s a new experience.

He saw something in town that he was not used to. “Sometimes when I go for a walk in the morning, I see someone in the restaurant having a beer for breakfast. This is something I haven’t seen in Denmark or Austria,“He added with a smile.
