Slavia – Poruba 0:4, Poruba hockey players won against Slavia and moved to the top of the first league

Poruba scored for the fifth consecutive time and won for the fourth time. Penultimate Slavia went bankrupt after a three match winning streak. Ostrava opened the scoring in the 6th minute when Canadian Aaron Berisha took advantage of a five-on-three power play. At 26:35, Tomáš Greš took advantage of the classic numerical advantage and in 119 seconds Tomáš Šoustal scored 3:0. Dominik Hrníčko also made his mark for the visitors in the 59th minute, who went into an empty net after being weakened during Slavia’s forceful play. Ondřej Bláha got his first clean sheet this season.

Zlín took the lead in Třebíčí 48 seconds into the second half thanks to a goal from Petr Mrázek. However, in the 32nd minute, defender Antonín Bořuta equalized in a power play, and 46 seconds before the second break, full-back Michal Furch turned the tables with another numerical advantage.

In the 48th minute Horácká Slavie used the power play for the third time thanks to Ladislav Bittner and was already leading 3:1. In the 55th minute, defender Tadeáš Talafa corrected the score. The Rams under new head coach Miloš Říha Jr. lost the fifth of six games and no follow up with Tuesday’s home win against Prostějov 6:1. Third-placed Třebíč have instead won five times in their last six matches and are three points closer to second-placed Vsetín.

Čtvrtý Prostějov won at home in Šumperk 4:1 and won the seventh of the last nine duels. Matouš Venkrbec gave the Hawks the lead in the 14th minute. After 70 seconds into the second half, defender Tomáš Drtil responded with a power play, but 13 seconds before the second break, David Ostřížek put the home side back in front with a numerical advantage. In the 57th minute, Matěj Pěnčík secured the lead for Prostějov and Jan Veselý sealed the result with a forceful play into an empty net.

Litoměřice achieved their fifth consecutive home win, beating Jihlava 5:0. Dukla, however, failed to score for the third time in a row. Stadium goalkeeper Tomáš Král kept a clean sheet for the second time this season.

Kolín won after two games without points and defeated Frýdek-Místek 2:1 after separate forays. Home team Kozlov scored in the 13th minute through Jakub Cibák, but Vladimír Svačina equalized within 152 seconds. The duel came down to raids, decided by Kryštof Ouřada in the 12th series.
