Slavia got priority over Juventus. Votíková returns to Eden – Sport.cz

Votíková prioritized Slavia over the offer from Juventus Turin. She will replace Olivia Lukášová, who moved to AS Rome this summer, in goal for the reigning Czech champions. “We were afraid that the goal is our biggest problem, that this is one of the sore spots. I am very happy that it was possible to bring Bara with me. It’s not every day you beat Juventus Turin in the battle for players,” said Slavia board chairman Jaroslav Tvrdík.

“The move to Juventus was very close. I had some decisions to make. I decided for the home, for Slavia, which gave me the opportunity to go out into the world, to gain experience, and now I want to give that to the team,” said Votíková.

The goalkeeper of the national team last season in Tottenham was a substitute and did not catch much. Votíková is the second big addition to Prague in a few days. At the end of last week, Slavia announced the transfer of midfielder Kateřina Svitková, who already visited Eden this spring from Chelsea.
