“There are such people” will not submit their draft government for voting. This was announced by the leader Slavi Trifonov in a three-minute statement by including him live on Facebook. He explained that the ITN would not support a cabinet nominated by any party that won a third term.
“Democratic Bulgaria and IBGNI have refused to support the ITN government. This means that the protest against GERB is a thing of the past, and there are ambitions, betrayals and games in the present that are absolutely unacceptable to me and my colleagues.”
This is how ITN leader Slavi Trifonov began his address on his TV 7/8, after it became clear that his party could not garner support for the government.
“The following will happen. I guess it has become clear that we have done everything possible, all compromises and gestures to the so-called protest parties to support the ITN government as the first political force. We have done everything possible to keep people calm, to “There is a government and they are happy with the protest parties. This did not happen because of their behavior and betrayal by the DB and IBGNI. This word is not heavy betrayal – betrayal is when someone betrays you,” Trifonov said.
Tomorrow we will not propose a draft cabinet for voting at all, because we had clearly stated that without their support we will not propose a cabinet, he added Trifonov.
This means that we are going to new elections, because we, as the first political force, will not support in the next term neither the parties of the status quo, nor the DB, nor IBGNI, he added. There is a possibility that in the next two options set by the constitution, the DB and IBGNI will act “nationally responsible” and reunite with the BSP, MRF and GERB, support the government and govern together, as they did until recently.
In the presidential elections, ITN will support the presidential candidate Rumen Radev, because he fills our image of the President of Bulgaria with content the most, Radev announced. And with our support, we hope that he will become president in the first round.
