Trifonov was adamant that he did not start his political project because he had an incredible desire to become a politician.
“I set out to do this because the entire political system refused to recognize the opinion of 3.5 million Bulgarians who voted in a legitimate referendum. I want this thing, which is logical, moral and legal, to be imposed, “he added.
According to him, what the GERB party has done must be “erased” by all legal means.
“This thing will go away, because this is the logical normal path of a normal member state of the European Union. The sovereign decides. There must be people in parliament who represent the color of the nation. To be respected, to behave with dignity, to be principled. In the National Assembly, an MP cannot call the deputy chairman a “gnome”, Trifonov pointed out.
His opinion is that the BSP is “the weakest toothless opposition in 30 years.”
“Left – right has long since faded. The modern world is different. For me, the behavior of ITN is practical. But not as the interests of the party itself, but practically in the interests of the sovereign. ” Trifonov stressed that the specific cases determine the direction of the ITN, whether it is a left or a right-wing party.
In connection with the foreign policy of our country, he stated:
“Bulgaria will always be emotionally connected to Russia because of the sacrifice it has made for us. Now the situation is different. The move of the Bulgarian sovereign to become a member of Europe and NATO years ago was correct, so we must be loyal partners of these two organizations. The leader of “There is such a people” also commented on the freedom of speech in the country and why he distances himself from media appearances.
“There is no mystery, there is logical behavior. One has to give interviews when there is something to say. Freedom of speech is not to be in 112th place, but to feel the freedom to do what morality, logic, intellect command you to do. In Bulgaria, a large part of the media are not free, “he explained.
“The way of expression is on the Internet, because there you are completely free. This is a matter of choice, “Trifonov added.
He is adamant that one should surround oneself with strong people with qualities, not with those who listen relentlessly.
