Slavi wanted ‘The Masters’ to move to his personal television
On the threshold of his political career, Slavi Trifonov suddenly decided to mend his relations with the Halvadzhiyan brothers. This became clear from the statement of one of them, Judy, who noted: “Timing matters.”
Slavi Trifonov wanted the transmission of the two brothers “Masters of the Air” to be moved to his personal television “7/8 TV”. They revealed this during their visit to Yonislav Yotov – Toto.
For years, showman Slavi Trifonov sued the two Halvadzhiyan brothers precisely because of “Masters of the Air”. The current ITN leader’s charges were for copyright infringement due to the use of footage from his emblematic show “Slavi’s Show”, longer than 30 seconds.
About 2 years ago, however, the two countries officially buried the tomahawks.
“Slavi started calling us both on the phone. We hadn’t heard from him for 12 years. Three times he called me an unknown number, and I don’t answer.
My assistant answered the phone, but didn’t recognize him, and he didn’t recognize who it was either. The fourth time, I answered the phone and Slavi said: “As secretaries and assistants, I can’t hear you.”
He said my brother called too and that it’s been 12 years and it’s time we bury the tomahawks and see each other,” said Maggie Halvajian.
However, Maggi Halvadzhiyan and Slavi Trifonov met.
“That’s where it all started when he called me. I said to him, ‘You’re judging us, aren’t you,’ and he continued, ‘I reconsidered things, it was shortly after his television launched. But there was only one left. idea ( The transfer of “The Hosts” to Slavi television – note, ed.), they didn’t have any commercial proposition. They just wanted the “Masters” to be with them, but we didn’t get anywhere” said the brothers .
That’s when the podcast was made, where Slavi answers questions from Maggie Halvajian.
“Ten minutes earlier we met and I said to him: we won’t talk about our business, we’ll talk about it over coffee. Here I’ll only ask you questions, but please smile a little”.
When asked if the drama between them was over, Judy clarified, “Well, when he got into politics, he decided to fix this drama. Timing is important.”
Maggi Halvajian revealed that 20 years ago Slavi wasn’t so grumpy. “I don’t know why he decided to look like that. But it’s him, he makes jokes, but they’re serious too,” she added, noting that the video for the song “Living Wound” was shot by him.
