Slavi and his people: photovoltaics instead of a factory in Lovech! “24 hours” checked: both

Investors are also negotiating to build more plants there, the photovoltaic park will power them

Photovoltaics in place of the car factory promised by Asen Vasilev and Kiril Petkov – this is currently visible near Lovech, the leading politicians of Slav Trifonov’s party have been writing on social networks for two days. On Monday afternoon, the ITN leader himself dedicated an angry Facebook post to the topic.

There is a question that I haven’t been able to find an answer to since learning about it. The question is, who likes to be lied to?

Think about it, dear friend, who is reading what I am writing right now.

Do you like being lied to? You want are they lying?

Do you like being lied to? Look how interesting – I’m not asking if you’re lying or who’s lying around you, but I’m asking you – do you want to be lied to? Otherwise, liars – God forbid! Now I’ll give you an example of a complete liar. On July 10, 2021, Kiril Petkov, then acting Minister of Economy, announced that there will be an electric car factory in Lovech, which will export cars all over Europe and said directly, I quote: “Electric cars will be a reality and it will be produced in Lovech “. Now, a year later, where electric cars should have thrown up, there is only photovoltaics. And nobody anywhere in Bulgaria talks about electric cars. That is, it is a lie. And the person who told this lie certainly isn’t just lying about electric cars. Because the person who uses a lie as a means of expression lies in principle, not just in the specific case.

This is how we human beings are made. Either you are a liar or you are not. The question is not whether Kiril Petkov is a liar or not, it is just an example of a person who lies when he wants and how he wants, and since I know him, he is one of those special types of liars who believe the lies themselves you are. rarer liars.

This is what Trifonov wrote some time ago, accusing the PP co-presidents of being “Baron Von Munchausen in the Bulgarian-Canadian version” and reasoning that “the truth is unshakable”, while the lie has feet of clay.

Earlier in the day, Stanislav Balabanov posted the photovoltaic photos and with the same pathos accused the former PP partners of lying and the media – of not being real, as announced on Sunday by their vice president Toshko Yordanov on BTV, but no. one took the trouble to spread the news.

However, “24 Chasa” not only monitors what is happening with the project for the Lovech car factory and regularly informs its readers, it also responds to ITN’s pathos of the past few days and, as of today, has again verified what it is happening there.

Here’s what the 24 Hour investigation found

A factory is also being built. And a photovoltaic park. There are actually two projects. The new plant will be built on the site of part of the “Balkan” Industrial Park, which covers 1,400 acres. This is actually the site of the former “Balkan” factory, where some of the first cars, bicycles, motorcycles and airplanes in Bulgaria were produced in the past. The new company is expected to use 200 decars from this area.

A photovoltaic park is being developed on another 700 hectares to serve production.

The technical phase of the project is currently being completed. Ground clearance has now been completed. A 2.5 kilometer long fence was also erected.

“The two projects are separate – they have no connection to each other”, architect Lyubomir Stanislavov, executive director of “Next.e.Go Bulgaria” and “Automotive Cluster Bulgaria” explained to “24 Hours”. The power of the photovoltaic park is around 120 megawatts and the new plant will consume only 8 megawatts.

“It can be assumed that the construction of the electric car factory in Lovech has practically begun”, says the architect. Stanislavov.

The huge new park will be called Carbon Neutral Industrial Park. “We hope there are other factories there, we are in talks with potential investors,” the executive director announced. The investment was agreed a year ago by the then Economy Minister Kiril Petkov. According to the arch. Stanislavov

the first series of electric cars should be produced by the end of next year

“The modern plant is a new way of producing electric cars and similar to a company like Tesla – most of its different parts are made in a common body, a common building. It’s quite impressive size for Bulgaria – over 320 meters long in one direction, and in the other about 240 meters. This is the main building where the production will take place. It has a rather complex organization with several storage areas, an area for the production of the so-called space looms in aluminum, etc., explained the architect Lubomir Stanislavov.

He also commented on the value of the investment, noting that a normal conventional car plant usually costs around € 1 billion. Thanks to the technology that will be built in Lovech and with which the most expensive units of the plant are eliminated,

its price can be reduced to 200 million euros

“As we will build this plant in Bulgaria, where many of the prices are lower, we expect a price of up to € 150 million. The project we have protected and which has received priority status from the Bulgarian government is € 140 million. “the executive director also said.
