Slaughtering his wife while praying…a shocking scene in the Mansouriya crime – Masrawy – Masrawy

An eyewitness narrated new circumstances in which a man was accused of getting rid of his wife by slaughtering herself with a knife in the village of Mansouriya, the district of Manshiyet Al-Qanater.

The eyewitness stated that the husband killed his wife on Al-Tabuna Street, and he did not just kill her with a knife and slit her throat in the neck area while she was praying under the eyes of his children, according to his narration.

An official security source – who refused to publish his name – confirmed that a police force was chasing the accused after he escaped to find out the motives behind his crime, suggesting that he committed the act while he was out of balance.

Major General Muhammad Al-Sharqawi, Director of the General Administration of Giza Investigations, received a notification from the Rescue Police Department that a dead body had been found on Al-Tabouneh Street, the district of Mansha’at Al-Qanater.

Major General Hani Shaarawi, Director of Criminal Investigation, directed that the report be quickly examined in coordination with the Investigation Unit and the North October Investigation Squad and the assistance of forensic evidence men.

Investigations by Colonel Abdul Hamid Al-Sabki, Inspector of the Division’s Investigations, concluded that a housewife was murdered by her husband, slaughtered with a knife, and the perpetrator fled for fear of being caught by the people.

The police forces, led by Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Okasha, Chief of Investigations, imposed a security cordon at the crime scene awaiting the presence of the Public Prosecution to begin the examination in preparation for transporting the body to the morgue.
