Slap for Bulgaria! What will happen to the Macedonian language?

North Macedonia and Albania officially started negotiations for membership in the European Union today. The co-chairman of VMRO Iskren Veselinov believes that the chances of RSM fulfilling its commitments to Bulgaria are too small.

“The Constitution was already amended once at the request of Greece. Now I highly doubt that responsive MPs from VMRO-DPMNE will be found. The inclusion of Bulgarians in the Constitution does not solve any problems of the Bulgarian community. We withdrew 3/4 of our objections, which are absolutely valid. The biggest slap in the face for all of us is the European legitimization of the Macedonian language and nationhe stated.

According to him, Bulgaria will continue to have a remark that probably no one will pay attention to. And the Macedonian language will probably be studied as philology in European cities and we will remain alone in defending the truth that it is a regional form of the literary Bulgarian language.

According to Veselinov, we have witnessed a collective betrayal in the National Assembly. VMRO convinced the political groups not to go for this option, assuring them that there would be no retreat from Bulgaria’s position. He is convinced that the decision of our parliament was made under external pressure.

“The Bulgarian conditions are a positive touch to the otherwise ugly picture of national treason. This is the obedience of our political class to the USA and to a lesser extent to the EU, which acceded to these interests. Bulgaria was in a position to defend a cause that historically no one would question the plan, but he did not do it. Most likely, this is related to current or future consumption of power,” Veselinov explained to Bulgaria ON AIR.

He noted that there are politicians in the parliament who are dependent on other embassies.

“We are certainly going to elections, the result of which is irrelevant, because somewhere again someone will order a pro-Atlantic and pro-European majority. Now is the time for the president to introduce a project to change the Constitution and for the government to be elected directly by the people. And the judiciary must be changed. This goes through the Grand National Assembly,” Veselinov also said.

According to him, “We continue the change” have not done anything in the 6 months in which they ruled. 10 billion is the cost of incompetent management – they failed to control inflation, gas and electricity crises, Veselinov pointed out.

“Society will wake up in the later winter months, when the pockets will be quite thin. Then there will be another election,” he predicted.
