Three teenagers from different cities – Montreal, New York, London – participate in an international slam competition whose final takes place in Paris. Everyone’s voice allows them to find their way.
The word slam comes from the English expression slam poetry. It is a form of rhythmic, urban oral poetry that advocates the values of sharing and overcoming social barriers.
Unlike rap, rhymes are not required in slam, and there is no music. No light or clothing decorations, no accessories either. In English, slam means snap.
