Georgi started playing music at an early age. And there is no other way – his father is maestro Nikolay Sultanov, founder and longtime leader of the Yambol Chamber Orchestra “Dianopolis”. His mother Boryana – daughter of Petar Slabakov from his first marriage, is a cellist, and his sister Krassimira – a famous violinist.

Among the natural decor of the sacred place, the Burgas opera artists presented “Nabucco” and “Troubadour” by Giuseppe Verdi and “Norma” by Vincenzo Bellini and impressed the audience, which included many foreigners.
Until 3 years ago, Georgi Sultanov was also part of the Burgas Opera, but he left and is currently employed in Plovdiv.
Georgi Sultanov graduated from the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv with Prof. Kalina Zhekova, in the same class is Shmilena. But before that, Petar Slabakov’s grandson enrolled in law at the Faculty of Law at Plovdiv University.
And just then he meets Shmilena, who is studying opera singing. After this meeting, Georgi finally returned to music. He began his stage career at the Musical Theater in Veliko Tarnovo in 1998, continued at the Opera in Burgas, where he had the chance to develop vocally with two giants in opera – maestro Ivan Vulpe and maestro Mihail Angelov.
In 2006 he made his debut at the National Opera and Ballet.
