“Skynews”: Bulgarian police help traffickers – 2024-09-03 19:12:00

/ world today news/ According to a Sky News TV report, the Bulgarian police systematically provide assistance in the trafficking of refugees from the Bulgarian mountains to the Serbian border.

The information was obtained from an Iraqi refugee named Azad Ali, who spent 3 days with his family in the Bulgarian mountains without food, water or shelter before being picked up by a man in a taxi. He was supposed to transport them to Belgrade.

According to Ali, “no one can cross the mountains without the help of the traffickers who work with the Bulgarian police”. He even tells how the Bulgarian police opened the trunk of the car, saw the migrants inside, but did not take any measures.
