Skylink is launching under the name Antenna + paid terrestrial broadcasting in DVB-T2. In addition to the offer of existing multiplexes, it will offer ten stations that can otherwise only be watched via satellite, cable or internet broadcasting.
You will need a TV with a DVB-T2 tuner, which is equipped with a CA slot for a decoder card (most of them should be). At the same time, it is necessary to be within range of a few transmitters so far. Currently, the broadcast can already be tuned in and around Prague.
Skylink is primarily a satellite broadcast provider, but also offers Internet television and new terrestrial broadcasting.
It will be possible to supplement the current stations in terrestrial broadcasting with the following stations:
• Nova HD
• Great HD
• JOJ Cinema HD
• Film + HD
• Nova Sport 1 HD a Nova Sport 2 HD
• Viasat Nature HD
• National Geographic HD
• Minimax
• LEO TV
Nova and Prima are also free in DVB-T2, but only in low SD resolution. And whoever has a TV with a larger diagonal will confirm that it is impossible to watch. In HD, stations are available on pay-TV and now also on pay-per-view. Prima uses the SD + designation for its terrestrial broadcasting in a resolution of 1440 × 1080 px, which is such a compromise between SD and HD.

The Anténa + service costs CZK 125 per month, ie at the level of cheaper Internet TV tariffs (which, however, tends to be wider). The starter pack costs CZK 499 and includes the first two months free of charge, in addition to the decoder module. You can order the service on the web antenaplus.cz, or in Datart stores.
As a pretty good bonus, you also get internet TV for the service Skylink Live TV, which will make the viewing available for all the above – mentioned stations, as well as the others from the regular terrestrial broadcasting offer (for example, ČT). There is a video library.
Technically, the broadcast works in the regional network 4 on channel 46, which has coverage in Prague and Central Bohemia. For possible nationwide broadcasting, it would mean the need to use one of the four main multiplexes, which are now full. Or launching others, which has been around for a long time contemplates.
