Legendary Sky Sports pundit Graeme Souness has announced his departure after 15 years of service. The 69-year-old former Liverpool, Rangers, and Scotland midfielder joined the broadcaster in 2008 following 22 years in football management. Known for his straight-talking style, he often clashed with fellow studio guests but remained a firm favorite among viewers. During his announcement after Liverpool’s 4-3 win over Tottenham, Souness admitted he “owes a hundred apologies” to those he may have offended in his time on air. Punditry allowed him to continue to enjoy the “buzz of live football”. Souness becomes the second high-profile personality to leave Sky Sports this week, following Jeff Stelling’s announcement of his retirement from hosting Soccer Saturday.
