Free transportation for the student and student community between Athens and Thessaloniki, from today Friday March 10th until Friday March 31st, is provided by SKY Express in collaboration with TEXAN Environmental Management.
With this initiative, they are proceeding with a humanitarian move, a few days after the tragic train accident in Tempi, so that the student and student community can continue attending classes in the respective schools without interruption, but also to facilitate their movements. Thus, a route exclusively for students of public and private schools in Athens and Thessaloniki is added to the company’s flight schedule every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Mr. Ioannis Grylos, president of the IOGR Group, of which SKY express is a member, characteristically stated: “The entire SKY express family proves that we constantly listen to the needs of our young people and their families and respond to them in a direct and practical. Our hope through this initiative is to contribute from our side, so that we not only facilitate the new generation of our country, but also inspire them with vision and optimism to lay the foundations for a better tomorrow, charting their own path” .

Beneficiaries of the free ticket must have a valid student pass, which must be shown during check-in. Each free ticket includes one 8kg cabin bag, one 23kg checked bag and all airport taxes.
