Chris Brunt has claimed Leeds United’s Stuart Dallas has been a ‘top performer’ for Northern Ireland for around five years now, as he told Sky Sports (10/9/21 at 7:50 pm).
The former West Brom player has claimed Dallas has been a “top, top player” since his breakthrough at Brentford, which has since led him on the road to the Premier League with Leeds.

It was a game to forget for Dallas yesterday as their Northern Ireland side suffered a crushing 2-0 World Cup qualifying loss to Switzerland.
Northern Ireland are now six points away from second place and it seems unlikely that they will get their plane tickets to Qatar next year.
But his former national teammate Brunt is full of praise for the Leeds player, 30, and the fact that he is ‘great for a manager’ to have on board.
“Stuey has been a top player since breaking through at Brentford,” said Brunt. “He’s moved to Leeds and he’s proven himself and can play at the highest level in the Premier League.
“He’s been one of our best players internationally for the past four or five years, wherever he’s also invited to play.
“It’s great for a manager to have someone like that. He can fall into two or three different positions when in trouble.

Dallas is one of those players who epitomizes the work Marcelo Bielsa has done at the club.
Before Bielsa walked through the gates of Elland Road, Dallas was a loose player who was always trying to find his feet in Yorkshire.
But now he can play across the end line, off and in the middle of the park.
During Leeds’ promotion and their top ten ranking last season, alongside Kalvin Phillips, he was one of the best players under Bielsa.
