Former Rangers forward Kris Boyd suggested on The Scottish Sun that Steve Clarke would love to coach Celtic.
Boyd, who now works as a Sky Sports expert, believes Celtic should name Clarke as Neil Lennon’s permanent successor.
Lennon resigned from his role as Celtic coach this week, with John Kennedy currently in charge of the first team on an interim basis.

Boyd believes Celtic should make a move for Clarke, and the former Rangers forward has said the 57-year-old would accept the change to lead the Hoops once the European Championship is over.
Clarke is in charge of Scotland’s national soccer team at the moment and will lead the team to the European Championships in the summer of 2021.
Boyd wrote in The Scottish Sun: “My old Kilmarnock boss Steve Clarke would be the one to look for and I suspect he couldn’t turn it down if Celtic were willing to wait until after the Euros. Steve is a lifelong Celtic fan and I think it would be too tempting for him.

Big decision ahead
Celtic should take time to make a decision about their next board appointment.
It doesn’t make sense for the Hoops to rush to bring someone in, as the season is practically over for the Glasgow giants.
Celtic is unlikely to catch Old Firm’s bitter rivals Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership table and they are not in the Europa League.
