Sky Deutschland goes IPTV

Already available by cable and satellite, the German platform Sky Germany diversifies its distribution by now adding the Internet, namely IP television or IPTV.

The Sky Q IPTV Box, marketed for 12.50 euros / month, will allow interested parties to receive more than 80 television channels, including the most popular free television channels such as RTL, VOX, ProSieben or SAT.1 in HD, streaming content from HBO, Showtime or Sky Originals, and free access to popular ARD, ZDF, ARTE and TVNOW media libraries. The offer also includes a wide selection of premium apps such as Netflix, Prime Video, Disney +, TVNOW Premium, Spotify and DAZN, which can also be booked and used on Sky Q.

To install the Sky Q IPTV Box, the customer just needs an internet connection with a speed of at least 6 Mbit / s. The operator indicates that TV programs can be enjoyed in every room via WLAN and that reception via LAN is also possible. And, as with satellite and cable, multi-screen service (additional boxes in other rooms) is also available.
