Most people spend the Christmas holidays with their families. But if you still find time between the goose and the roast pork, you can turn on the television. For sports fans, there is a solid live offer on Sky, DAZN and Co.

Sky, DAZN and Co.: live sport at Christmas
On the night of December 24 the NHL will be broadcast on Sky. The Ottawa Senators meet the Detroit Red Wings at 1 a.m. German time. After that, live events will be quiet for the time being and Sky will only really start again on 26 December.
Boxing Day traditionally takes place in England on 26 December and that means a full Premier League schedule! The game kicks off at 1.30pm with Brentford FC – Tottenham Hotspur. Four games will kick off at 4pm (Crystal Palace – Fulham, Everton – Wolverhampton, Leicester City – Newcastle, Southampton – Brighton & Hove). Sky shows all matches individually and in conference.
The top clubs are also in action on Monday evening. At 18.30 Klopp’s Liverpool meets Aston Villa and at 21 there is the London derby between leaders Arsenal and West Ham United.
HBL, BBL, DEL and NFL – full Christmas schedule
In addition to Boxing Day in the Premier League, Sky also broadcasts sports from Germany. The German handball Bundesliga is in action. At 14:00 Magdeburg plays against Frisch in Göppingen, at 16:00 Sky shows Rhein-Neckar Löwen against ASV Hamm-Westfalen, at 18:00 Melsungen meets Lemgo and finally at 20:00 Kiel has to play in Minden.

However, Sky isn’t the only sports broadcaster to have a live offer over the Christmas period. On December 26 Magenta Sport hosts the German Basketball Bundesliga and the German Ice Hockey League. NFL Football League Christmas Games are broadcast on DAZN and ProSiebenMaxx.
